Hello,

On Saturday January 30, I am planning to go to Seattle to participate in the Seattle Mariners Fan Festival. This activity will give you a chance to meet and take pictures with Ichiro’s teammates, see Ichiro’s locker, walk on the playing field and receive free Mariners souvenirs.

I am hoping to find some Japanese friends, new and old, that are interested to go to Seattle on January 30. If you are not interested in baseball, that’s ok too. You can enjoy more free time in downtown Seattle.

After the baseball activity, we can enjoy a nice Mexican or Thai lunch for example and can visit Pike Place Market, 1st Starbucks store, Cheesecake Factory and other stores such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Victoria’s Secret and Patagonia.

If we have enough time, we will also visit Snoqualmie Falls. This waterfall is one of Washington state’s most popular scenic attractions.

Our last stop will be the Seattle Premium Outlet mall. We will stay there for about 2-3 hours.

I really enjoy making new Japanese friends. I am hoping to find 3 or 4 members to join me.

I will invite one of my Japanese friends to join us (You can invite your friend too!) so he/she can help you if you have any questions. If you are shy, the entire conversation can be in Japanese.
