Hello,
My Japanese friends and I are planning to go to Seattle, USA on Thursday December 31, 2009. New Year’s Eve in Vancouver is kind of boring as there is no big public celebration and no special fireworks. There are parties of course but you have to pay money.
In Seattle, we can visit the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) which is one of the best art museums in America. We will definitely go outlet mall shopping, enjoy New Year’s Eve countdown and fireworks display at Space Needle tower and celebrate the New Year with cheesecake and champagne/Beaujolais Nouveau wine. If we have enough time, we will also visit Snoqualmie Falls. This waterfall is one of Washington state’s most popular scenic attractions. Sounds nice? We think so.
Also, we will visit Abercrombie & Fitch, Pike Place Market, 1st Starbucks store, Seattle Mariners team store and the Cheesecake Factory.
My friends and I enjoy meeting new people. We are looking for 3 or 4 more members to join us.
If you are interested in going to Seattle on December 31, please send me an e-mail with your name and telephone number. We can meet for coffee and talk about the Seattle trip. My Japanese friend can help you if you have any questions. If you are shy, the entire conversation can be in Japanese.
We hope some people will join us. Let’s have a great day in Seattle together!
Have a nice day!

Hello! I found 4 people who are interested in the Seattle trip. Two members are from Okinawa (22 year-old girl and 21 year-old guy). The 3rd member is a 29 year-old guy from Nagoya and the 4th member, she is from Fukuoka.
We still have space for 3 more people. If you would like to join us, please contact me as soon as possible.
