日本に住んでいる重病の友人から安楽死に関して情報が欲しいとメールがありました。
日本では安楽死が認められてないので、安楽死が認められているカナダに住んでいる私にメールをしたんだと思います。
少しググったら以下の情報をみました。
現在の日本においては、安楽死・尊厳死は合法化されていない。 もし、患者本人が真摯に死 を望んでいたとしても、患者の要望に基づいて殺害し、または自ら命を絶つのを援助する行為 は、自殺関与・同意殺人罪（刑法 202 条）に該当する。
もし私が重病の友人にカナダの安楽死の情報をメールで教えたら、殺関与・同意殺人罪（刑法 202 条）に該当するのでしょうか？
カナダに住んでいない日本人がカナダに来て安楽死をする事が出来るのかは知りませんが。

カナダで安楽死が認められていないときに、アメリカからドクターカボーキアンを呼んで安楽死したケースがある。
安楽死ドクターと呼ばれていた、アメリカ、カナダで多くの人を安楽死させた、何度も告訴されたが有罪にはならなかった。
方法はありそうだ。

上記のような方法はあるだろうが、北米で安楽死の為に入院+脱法ドクターを呼ぶならば、かなりの金額がかかるので普通にスイス行った方が安い。
日本でドクター呼んで実行した場合は確実に殺人罪になる。
2017年の情報だから今はもう一寸値上がりしてるだろうけどスイスの場合、200万位（旅費抜き）だって。まぁ家族と一緒に行くだろうし500万位はかかると思っていいと思うよ。

父が肺がんで亡くなった、家では痛みを抑えることが出来なくなり、国立病院のホスピスに入れた、強力な麻薬で痛みを抑え、水分だけを補給、２０日後に骨と皮だけになり、餓死した。
愛するペットには安楽死があり、愛する父に安楽死が無いのは不当だと病院に文書を送ったが、無視された。
家で飼っていた猫が肺がんになった、痛みで震えていた、ベッツに連れて行って安楽死させた、まず鎮静剤で眠らせる、次に心臓を止める薬を注射、穏やかに心臓は止まった。

You do not need to have a fatal or terminal condition to be eligible for medical assistance in dying.
If your only medical condition is a mental illness, you are not eligible for medical assistance in dying until March 17, 2027.
If you have a mental illness along with other medical conditions, you may be eligible for medical assistance in dying.

日本でもちゃんと研究して法を整備して安楽死を法制化すれば社会保障費も軽減される可能性があるのに。

日本でも脳死の場合の延命を続けるかは家族の判断だと思うのだけど、違うの？
